Analytics integrations

UserGist can send its core product events to Amplitude, Mixpanel, or both at the same time. These are outbound destinations: UserGist does not import events from either provider.

Connect a destination

Open App settings → Integrations, choose a provider, and follow the guided flow:

   Choose project and region

   Enter the provider's project key or token. Credentials are verified before an existing connection is replaced.

   Choose product areas

   Feedback, Surveys, In-app messages, Push, Requests, and Lifecycle start enabled. You can use any combination.

   Verify ingestion

   UserGist sends UserGist Integration Connected and shows its exact synthetic device ID. Find that event in the provider's live event view.

Provider acceptance is shown as Accepted by Amplitude or Accepted by Mixpanel. The provider's UI can take a short time to display an accepted event.

What is sent

Events use readable names such as UserGist Survey Completed and UserGist Survey Answer Submitted, plus a stable usergist_event_key property for code and queries. Structured answers—including ratings, NPS scores, selected choice IDs and labels, and dates—are exported with their question details. Free-text answers remain in UserGist.
