Billing & usage
UserGist has one usage-based offer for every workspace. All five tools and all features are included, with unlimited apps and team members. There is no trial or expiry date.
Pricing
The first 1,000 monthly active users are free. Each additional block of 1,000 costs $5 USD per month, with partial blocks rounded up. There is no base fee or per-seat charge.

You can start without a credit card. Add payment details from Workspace → Billing before going beyond 1,000 active users. Without payment details, existing users within the free allowance can continue; additional users are held until billing is enabled. Free access resets each month and does not expire.

What counts
A monthly active user is an anonymous or identified SDK user who sends at least one accepted event during the UTC calendar month. Usage is combined across the workspace's apps. Identifying an anonymous user merges their identities for billing. Customer Portal visitors do not count unless they also use an SDK-connected app.
Months run from 00:00 UTC on the first day to 00:00 UTC on the first day of the next month. The free allowance resets monthly. Adding payment details does not reset the counter or give another free allowance.
The Billing page shows accepted active users, additional blocks, the estimated monthly charge before tax, and billing history. Usage is finalized after each month; taxes are handled by Paddle.
Payment details and invoices
Use Manage billing to open Paddle's customer portal, update payment details, and view invoices. Paid usage uses a $0-base agreement: you pay only for usage above the free allowance.
Canceling paid usage keeps free access for up to 1,000 active users each month. Unpaid usage has a seven-day payment grace period; free usage remains available.
Accrued usage is settled before a scheduled cancellation or pause. During the final hour, existing users and already paid blocks remain available, but a new unpaid block cannot be opened. Undoing cancellation keeps the same monthly allowance and does not charge settled blocks again.
A declined usage charge starts the payment grace period even when the $0-base agreement is still active. Billing shows Payment needs attention until the unpaid charge is resolved; changing the card alone does not clear the charge.
